WESTCHESTER FLAMES 2008 ELITE TEAM
The Westchester Flames Youth is a year-round program for youth players looking for a competitive environment to challenge themselves at an elite level. It is for those that are committed and have the ambition, the desire, and the vision to always improve to reach the top.
The new season starts with trainings and competition during the months of June and July. The month of August is off. During the fall (high school season), optional trainings take place once a week to keep the team together. The team returns in November to participate in the EDP North Atlantic League in the late fall. The team also participates in college showcases in the late fall as well. In the winter, the team trains indoors at Socceroof and outdoors at Bronxville High School. The team also participates in winter competition. As the team transitions to the spring, they will continue to play in the EDP North Atlantic League along with state cup and college showcases. The team also plays in State Cup competition as well. The club season ends in late May.
NYCS assists with the administration of soccer activities for teams competing in the expanded version of the North Atlantic Conference managed by EDP Soccer. Based on how the team performs in league play, the team has the opportunity to be elevated to the USYS North Atlantic Conference.
